Ancient Wisdom (ancientwisdomlens.com) is operated by an individual based in Vietnam for readers in the United States and internationally. This notice describes information associated with reading the website, using its interactive features, and contacting its editor.

Reading, search, and Practice

You do not need an account to read lessons or use Practice. The current application holds Practice choices, comparison views, search text, filters, and situation selections in the open page. It does not submit those choices to an application service that records decisions or saves a visitor profile.

Browser session restoration can affect how long a page's interface state remains available. Leaving a page does not guarantee that the browser immediately erases every part of that state.

Functional browser storage

The navigation framework uses session storage to restore reading positions and help recover when a page module fails to load. Stored values can include scroll coordinates, navigation identifiers, page URLs, and reload-recovery markers. These features support navigation and reliability; they do not store your Practice answers as an advertising profile.

Your browser manages this storage and its lifetime. Clearing site data through browser settings can reset reading positions and recovery state. Browser settings and session-restoration features affect whether information remains available when a session is restored.

Email you choose to send

The Contact link opens your email application; the website does not provide an on-site contact form. If you email the published address, your email service delivers the message to a Gmail mailbox. A message can include your sender address, name, message content, and attachments you choose to send.

Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your question, correction, or lesson suggestion. Clearing browser site data does not delete a message you previously sent by email or a record held by a service provider.

Fonts and technical services

The website requests fonts from Google-hosted services. Your browser connects to those services to obtain font files, and network information, including your IP address, is involved in delivering those requests. This is separate from Practice and does not mean Google AdSense is active. See Google Fonts information and Google's Privacy Policy for information about Google's services, including Gmail.

The application includes technical error handling. Server errors can be written to runtime console logs. Client error details, including page paths and stack traces, can be passed to platform reporting hooks when those hooks are present. These diagnostics are separate from storing Practice decisions in a visitor profile.

Cloudflare Workers is the planned hosting platform. Hosting and delivery services process requests to provide pages and assets; the presence of an optional reporting hook does not establish that the corresponding service is active on every deployment. This notice does not promise that hosting or other technical providers keep no records.

Advertising plans

Google AdSense is planned but has not been activated. The current application does not include an analytics integration or an advertising consent-management platform. Any future advertising notice and privacy controls need to reflect the providers, data uses, and choices actually introduced.
